[Update: We’ve moved!] We’re in the process of moving Created in Birmingham to a new server. In practice this means it might vanish for a bit. Don’t worry. On the plus side those tedious database error things should no longer appear. Which will be a good thing.
Jibbering Records, the Moseley-based shop / cafe / promoters / art dealers / etc, are celebrating their 7th birthday with a 2-room gig at the Hare and Hounds on Saturday December 1st, headlined by The Destroyers. More details at the link.
Misty’s Big Adventure’s new album is out. Funny Times is avaiable at Swordfish and other local shops, from Amazon or direct from the band. I note they’re playing the Xmas Lights Swtich-on along with Sugababes and McFly on November 10th.
Stef Lewandowski’s putting down more of his crazy ideas. The latest one comes out of his work with the Big City Plan people – he reckons they should write their masterplan as a Wiki and explains how this might work at length. Fascinating stuff, and encouraging that the powers that be seem to get it.
