About

“Linking up Birmingham’s creative and artistic communities.”

Created in Birmingham existed as a platform to share what was going on in Birmingham. The blog was active between 1st December 2006 and 5th September 2016, promoting, discussing and being part of Birmingham’s creative community.

Sometimes we did stuff offline too: in 2010 we had a pop-up shop in the Bullring, in 2014 we brought Glug to Birmingham with Inkygoodness, and in 2015 we helped resurrect’s the city’s edition of Pecha Kucha Birmingham.

We decided to stop running CiB because we didn’t want to do it anymore and no one stepped forward to take it over.

You can still search through the archive. (We were on facebook and twitter too).
