Linford Group to re-build Edwards No 8 nightclub is a rather strange headline as there’s no indication in the article that it’ll house a rock club and venue when it’s rebuilt. Still, nice to see they’ve salvaged the facade. via LJ Brum

The Post has a long feature on the Station exhibition that starts at Curzon St Station today (previously blogged here) with the news that Peter James, head of photography at Birmingham Libraries, planned the show as part of a bid to have the building house a permanent photography gallery, something Birmingham woefully lacks.

Following from speculation (and that’s all it is as far I can tell) that this years Artsfest is to be the last one, The Stirrer reports on plans for a new bi-annual music festival based on feasibility studies being undertaken by Audiences Central at the moment. Here’s the discussion thread.
