Once upon a time in the Midlands

An exhibition of illustration inspired by fairy tales with artists and illustrators all with connections to the midlands. Featuring new work from James Bourne, Lee Crutchley, Herman Inclusus, Lizz Lunney, Mark Long, Mr Millerchip, Luke Pearson, Sarah Ray, Paul Roberts and Steven Silverwood.

Pointe Blank, Fake Magazine, Inkygoodness

A Valentine’s Day treat

Valentine’s Date: Lady Mail Man was written and directed by Dice Productions and filmed by 144. Second Home Studios provided some lights and that cafe is 6/8 Kafe.

Kristian Jones – Fast Food Dreams

Fast Food Dreams is an exhibition by Kristian Jones. You can see it at 6/8 Kafe today. His work has also recently been featured all over Common, my favourite Mancunian bar. UPDATE: Fused Magazine points out that the exhibition is on for the next six weeks.

A couple of graffiti exhibitions

Moseley Exchange are exhibiting work by Hoakser in a show called GRAFFITI VS ART from 19 October to 19 November (with the opening on 18 Oct). Meanwhile, 6/8 Kafe have got work by Golden Boy, Lisk Bot and Miss150 adorning their walls until 19 November.

Birmingham Loves Photographers
