Birmingham Loves Photographers

Jill Evans and Ken Harrison are the first photographers to be profiled on a new site called Birmingham Loves Photographers.

I’m not sure who’s behind this, but they’re doing it in conjunction with 6/8 Kafé, in fact it might well just be them – they’re pretty good at featuring photographers and such on their blog. These people are also threatening to run photography events around the West Mids too. If you’d like to be profiled then they say:

We’re looking for amateurs and pros to feature in the blog. The two requirements are:

  • You are looking to further yourself as a photographer and use this avenue to promote yourself and others; both creatively and, hopefully, gain some financial return to develop your career.
  • That you are being based in Birmingham.

    Cheers for sharing our site on your blog. I am a barista at 6/8 Kafe, but doing this blog because I am a huge fan of photography and see little outlet for the talent around Birmingham.

    We are ‘threatening’ to do some events, first in 6/8 Kafe, including lectures, meet ups and other tom-foolery. Then into workshops around the city and further out.

    Had a great response so far thanks to support from people like yourselves so thanks a lot.

    Anyone should feel free to get in contact; I am open to working with people who wish to share talent and creativity. Just here for fun.

    I am looking to work with anyone who is interested – also, if you want to do something in conjunction with the blog to promote Birm ‘togs then just give me a shout.
