A quick round-up of creative happenings this weekend

October 8, 2012 by Kerry

If you’re in Birmingham this weekend (11th-13th October 2012) you’re spoilt for choice of creative, cultural, and likely to be very enjoyable happenings across the city. Essentially CiB isn’t a listings website, but we thought it would be sensible to do a quick round up.

We’ve already featured bits and bobs from Eye Candy Design and Illustration Festival, the Birmingham Zine Festival, Birmingham Book Festival and Afrovibes – but there’s also OXJAM BRUM, Birmingham Comedy Festival, Mr Bird’s Emporium’s grand opening, TROVE’s third birthday, the RBSA gallery open day, West Midlands Human Rights Film Festival, The Merchant of Venice by FRED theatre group at A.E.Harris, and quite possibly a lot more events that we don’t even know about. Also worth mentioning, the following weekend it’s Supersonic Festival – celebrating 10 years of adventurous music.

If we have missed something happening this weekend that’s worth a mention, add it into the comments below.
