Or it does according to someone at the new Fallen Angel Bakery in Harborne if the experience of Paul at Ricemedia is anything to go by:
Fazeley Studios might host some fine digital media companies, Ikon Eastside and our own fair office but there’s still some work to be done apparently. That or the guy’s a numpty.
Wow, this is the way they talk about prospective clients, nice!
I don’t follow…
What a shame the client made such a blinkered assumption. Fazeley Studios is a fantastic space. I do hope they don’t display a similar attitude to their patrons.
To be fair fazeley studios doesn’t have much of street presence. The first time I went there I wandered about for 5 minutes trying to find something that looked like an entrance because I couldn’t believe their main doors were the actual entrance.
Yep, true that. It’s a bit low profile from the outside.

[…] Digbeth still has a way to go | Created in Birmingham – According to Fallen Angel Bakery, going by the bizarre exchange above. Paul at Ricemedia claims they described Fazeley Studios and the surrounding area as a ’3rd World Country’. I know it’s not got the leafy pleasantness of Harborne or Moseley but…really?! […]
I’ve invited Fallen Angel Bakery on a guided tour of Digbeth to show them how good it really is. :-)
Cheers
