The Big Culture Blog

April 23, 2010 by Chris Unitt

The name starts with ‘Big’ so it must be City of Culture related. From midday today until midday tomorrow the Big Culture Blog is collecting people’s stories about what goes on in this rather wonderful city:

Show your support and tell everyone about your culture and events by emailing and sharing where you are and what you’re doing. Email — attaching pictures, video or sound if you have it — to blog@birminghamculture.org

It looks like it’s going well too, there’s loads on there but, to pick a few at (almost) random:

  • Christine went to the West Midlands Open on her lunch break
  • Cllr Martin Mullaney popped into the CiB shop
  • Sibyll was redrafting chapter 11 of her novel

There’s even a story from someone travelling from fellow bid shortlistee Derry/Londonderry to see Mark Morris Dance Company perform here last night.
