- Some music articles on the BBC Birmingham site the might be of interest: An interview with classical composer Andrew Downes, an interview with punk band Dressed as Girls, an interview with Angel of the Gypsy Pistoleros who appear to be big in the US, and a post-hype interview with The Twang.
- Caught my eye: Dracula: The Musical, a “low-camp multi-media gothic-sex-comedy”, from When Bears Attack performing at The MAC on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August.
- There’s a new Birmingham Bloggers group on Facebook. We’ll see if anything comes of it but some might find it useful. And if you have any questions about the medium that’d be as good a place as any to ask them.
- Missed it at the time: Laura Dexter kept a diary during the Fierce Festival which she worked as a volunteer. Part one, two, three, four, five.
I’ve completed my house move and will be spending the rest of the week playing catchup, so expect normal service to resume soon. And keep sending stuff in.
