This Friday New Art West Midlands kicks off its fourth edition. Taking place at the Waterhall at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, mac birmingham, Wolverhampton Art Gallery and the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry, the exhibition showcases the work of artists that have graduated within the last three years from five of the West Midlands’ art schools.
Offering an insight into the current trends and concerns of contemporary art, New Art West Midlands also aims to highlight promising artists at the very start of their careers.
New Art West Midlands is organised by Turning Point West Midlands, a network that works to promote and develop contemporary art in the region, hosted by Birmingham City University.

modern adaptation of classic, The Tortoise and the Hare.
