New Community Centre for Yardley

Launch event side 1 blog

Live in Yardley and fancy doing something different on one of your evenings, or run an activity but need a space?

A new community centre in Yardley launches next Monday with a week of free taster activities. The sessions (including art, writing, batik, dhol drumming, DJ workshops, mehndi and technical drawing classes) will provide a starting point for a consultation exploring what the local community would like from their new hub.  The Hobmoor Community Centre, launched by Coventry-based Mercurial Arts with Oasis, will then be available for activities and classes every weekday evening during term time from 5pm-10pm.

The Hobmoor Community Centre Launch Week takes place from Monday 2 – Friday 6 November 2015, every evening from 5pm-10pm. Those interested in booking on one or more of the free sessions can sign up from 3.30-5pm on Monday 2 November at the centre or via the website. The timetable of activities can be found here.

    Dear all,

My grand dad has passed away and we will be cremating him in yardley cremation centre.
We are like looking to arrange a small gathering of 30-40 people and have some food. We are looking for a community hall and have come across yours which is really nice.

Please could you let us know if it would be possible to hire? What is the price for hiring for upto 5 hours? Parking space? Tables and chairs?

Our number is 07455000585, in case if you would like to discuss, alternatively please drop me an email regarding our query.

    Kind Regards,
    Deblina
