Birmingham Cathedral are celebrating their tercentenary this year, and this weekend they have ‘Something Good‘ happening:
Join us in Cathedral Square for the Outdoor Event and Sound Performance Something Good. Live events will take place outdoors at Dawn, Solar Noon and Dusk….6.30am, 12.45pm and 6.30pm on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2015. The dawn event will last approximately 20 minutes and solar noon and dusk events approximately 30 minutes
Birmingham Cathedral celebrates 300 years at the heart of the city with a festival of outdoor arts. Come and See as Cathedral Square is transformed by extraordinary sounds, words and visual art.
Something Good brings together the work of artists from different faith backgrounds, neighbourhoods and communities across Birmingham. Composer DAN JONES creates a new sound landscape for the city with Skyline Symphony. Visual and mural artistMOHAMMED ALI live paints Nomad-inspired sculptures. Poet and writer MANDY ROSS explores faith traditions and Light and Dark.
