The Woman Who Had No…

July 28, 2008 by Chris Unitt

I’m just being cautious here – I wouldn’t say this is nsfw as such but this post does mention a word certain employers might not like to see on their employees’ computers.  We’re all grown-ups though, right?

Carolyn Bayliss is looking for participants in her project The Woman Who Had No Vagina:

I am making a life-size rag doll and have so far completed the lower half of the doll.  I am inviting the public to make a vagina for the doll which can be realistic or representative and in any art form, ie music, sculpture or anything else.

You can see some examples on Carolyn Bayliss’s website.  So far people have used poetry, photos and video to create their representations.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the CiB readers can do – if you take part please let us know in the comments.
