ART RAVE is a free art and music festival, being held at The Bond this weekend (Sat 9th & Sun 10th August.)
The exhibition will explore the notion of the pop-up parties of old, the music, the experience, the colours and its anti-establishment standpoint. Twenty artists will explore this theme through a diverse range of approaches such as painting, sculpture, video, installation and the act of drawing.
The exhibition is open 12pm-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. There’s an opening event on Saturday 9th after the daytime exhibition, which sees the exhibition joined with six live bands, a BBQ and a bar.
The launch event is 6pm-11pm on Saturday. The live band line-up and photos of some of the work being exhibited is available on the Transient Art website.
