Birmingham Sketchcrawl

WW-Sketchcrawl-No

This Saturday is the third Birmingham SketchCrawl. Here are the plans for the day from organiser/illustrator Tim Richardson:

Just a quick reminder that the next sketch crawl will be next Saturday the 1st March. Starting at Birmingham Moor Street Railway Station at 11:00, I’ll hang around the main concourse. Half way meet up in the Centenary Lounge on the station at 13:00. There no longer seems to be any such thing as a platform ticket (showing my age here, I remember when they were 5p!) so unless you get the train there, or buy a return to Snow Hill you won’t be able to get onto the platforms, there is plenty to draw in and around the station building though.
Then making our way down to the Custard Factory in Digbeth,  the back way down Bordesley Street, Little Ann Street & Floodgate Street going past the Polish Centre (nice statue outside) and the railway arches.
Final meet in Yumm Cafe at 16:00. If you follow the signs to the Custard Factory this is the biggest cafe with a lime green coloured sign outside.

If you can’t make it this Saturday and would like to go to one in future then I’d recommend following the Birmingham Urban Sketchers blog for future news updates. There’s also a facebook group / flickr pool or you can email info@timothyrichardson.co.uk to request to be added to the mailing list.
