The Giggling Girder Club!

Thinking of travelling out to the Jewellery Quarter on Tuesday night? Or someone who is looking to get a little more friendly performing experience? Either way it’s always nice to know where some creative entertainment can be found. On the 21st of January Soul Food restaurant The Church will start playing host to ‘The Giggling Girder Club’. From 7pm you can look forward to the beginning of;

A new monthly night of spoken, sung and smugly said words in a form that is for entertainment. With acts from far and wide, the night will offend, encourage and invoke your senses.

Tickets for the event are on sale for £3.50, but if you’re tempted by the food on offer then you can go all out and purchase a meal ticket for £11. Amongst those scheduled for performing tonight (21st January) are; Tom Christian, Graham Milton and Rob Kemp as comedians, Karl Merrick on guitar and a spoken word performance from Dave Pitt and Rohit the Poet.

Finding places that are open to performance is always great, and if you’re interested in performing yourself, then this would be an easy way to get a feel for the atmosphere first hand.
