Cao Fei 'House of Teasures'

Millennium Point are putting a giant inflatable pig into their main atrium. It’s an artwork entitled House of Treasures by Chinese artist Cao Fei – it is the first time it’s been exhibited outside of China – and is the first piece in Millennium Point’s new arts strategy – which has its own launch party tonight 5th November 6pm-8pm.

The artwork House of Treasures is presented in collaboration with Eastside Projects who are currently exhibition Cao Fei – Haze and Fog, until 16th November.

In other Millennium Point news, The Giant Screen have launched #CrowdsourceCinema with a Sci-Fi Classics Season. Tomorrow night (Wednesday 6th November), after their screening of Moon, there will be a Moon crew Q&A with a chance to meet some of the production team behind the film. Speakers include Visual Effects Supervisor Gavin Rothery, Supervising Propmaker Bill Pearson and Visual Effects Editor Barrett Heathcote.
