I’m probably leaving it a bit late to piggy-back on Cannes-fever (is that a thing? I clearly have no idea) but anyway, here’s something from the Birmingham-based Vermillion Films:
It was shown recently at an event at the Cannes Film Festival announcing Oscar winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr as a member of FilmAid’s Global Artist Council and Cuba referenced the film in his speech.
It’s really nice to see the impact that FilmAid has made in the lives of less fortunate communities. Seeing so many people empowered through this project is just an amazing feeling and it must be even more rewarding to the founders of FilmAid. Great work, they should keep it up!
