Telling Storeys

April 3, 2012 by Chris Unitt

Telling Storeys is a collection of (average quality) photographs celebrating the architecture of Birmingham, UK, and occasionally further afield. Where possible, more information about that building or place is provided below the photograph. Information is mostly sourced from the Pevsner Architectural Guide to Birmingham by Andy Foster, along with other architectural reference books. A little extra local knowledge thrown in where possible.

The aim of Telling Storeys is to get across one simple message: look upwards.

Which reminds me of this by I Heart Joan.

The Telling Storeys website is here and it’s a Tumblr, so you can hit the ‘follow’ button for updates. Or follow @tellingstoreys on Twitter. The person behind it is Lorna Parsons, in case you’re wondering.
