{"id":1578,"date":"2015-10-22T14:55:44","date_gmt":"2015-10-22T14:55:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bhamobscura.com\/?p=1578"},"modified":"2015-10-22T14:55:44","modified_gmt":"2015-10-22T14:55:44","slug":"school-visit-to-lyndon-school-solihull","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bhamobscura.com\/2015\/10\/school-visit-to-lyndon-school-solihull\/","title":{"rendered":"School Visit to Lyndon School Solihull"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Wednesday we visited\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lyndonschool.co.uk\">Lyndon School<\/a> in Solihull to show their students the Camera Obscura.<\/p>\n<p>This was the result of a conversation we had over the summer at CoCoMad, with Mr Spurr, a teacher at the school who took a shine to the device when he saw it at the family festival.\u00a0Although we've had a lot of different conversations about going into schools, this was the first that actually came to fruition..<\/p>\n<p>We ended up showing the device to several different classes: Year 7 Science, Year 7 History, Year 9 Art &amp; Design and GCSE Photography.
